Texas Bar-B-Q in Flagstaff

We had to head to Flagstaff yesterday to do some shopping. The cupboards were getting pretty bare so off to Flag we went. For lunch we were headed to the NAU campus (Northern Arizona University). Rumors of a Chick-Fil-A exist online. On our way to the campus we saw the "Savior Of Flagstaff," Big John's.
We became familiar with Big John's about two years ago. Big John's sits up in a parking lot with his trailer and smokers and sells Texas Barbeque out of it. (Yes, it is totally legal and incredible). As we drove by it was hard to resist. But we did and off we go to NAU, for Chick-Fil-A.
Finding Chick-Fil-A was a disaster. We wondered around the campus for a while and could not find the cafeteria area where Chick-Fil-A was suppose to be. It is amazing what happens when you turn on the wrong street and realize that where you are driving is no longer a street, but a walkway! We gave up and just followed our noses back to Big John's. It wasn't really hard to do.
These guys work hard on Friday and Saturday making some of the best food in the area. The guy in the black shirt is chopping up some fresh brisket for chopped beef sandwiches, which is just what we ordered.
This is what you get when you order a chopped beef sandwich from Big John's. This thing is so big that you cannot pick it up with your hands. Thank God for forks! Extremely tasty!
