On May 17 we headed for the North Rim. We decided it was time to get away and we had never been to the North Rim. Even though the North Rim is only 10 miles away (if you could fly over the Grand Canyon), to drive it is 200 miles. These are the cliffs that you see on highway 89A on the way to the North Rim. They actually have a name but I don't know what it is. They are beautiful.
