The Big Yellow Truck

There is nothing like a big yellow truck.

They are hard to miss

. . . especially when they are coming to see YOU!

About two weeks ago Miles broke down.

Miles is our 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 (V-10) pickup truck.

He is like family to us and it is very hard to tow our rv without him.

We had Miles towed to a mechanic in Prescott that we are familiar with to diagnose the problem and repair him.

We were in Congress AZ at the time (about 56 miles south of Prescott).

The big yellow truck came and took Miles away.

Goodbye Miles.

Go get well.

Recently a friend of mine was getting rid of some of his music.

I just happened to be at the right place at the right time.

He turned to me and said those magic words:

"Why don't you go through the cds and see if there is anything that you want."

You don't have to tell me twice!

So I dived in.

Sunset In California

Sorry for the long stretch of time between posts!

We have been on the road

and at times

I have been without an internet connection.

(Yes, even in this amazing time of everyone being connected

I have actually been unconnected a lot.

Hard to believe!)

We spent half of December and January in California.

For part of that time we were camped

in our friends backyard in Lancaster, CA.

One evening we were sitting in our rv

when I saw these amazing colours

refecting off of the outside walls.

It was then that I realized that I was missing an amazing sunset.

We hurried out and saw some of the most beautiful colours in the sky.

It was truly an incredible sunset.

The heavens declare the glory of God;

And the firmament shows His handiwork (Ps. 19:1).
